Job summary

Sagewynn in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications and provide daily resident care on an on-call, onsite basis. You will work under a licensed nurse, document medication administration, and support residents according to care plans.

Ideal candidates meet state and federal requirements, have 6 months+ home care or long-term care experience, and are committed to Platinum Service®.

Qualifications

• Must meet all applicable state and federal requirements for this position.
• Prefer 6 months or more of experience in a home care, assisted living, or long-term care facility.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to health care provider instructions within licensed scope.
• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration and outcomes.
• Provide daily resident care and services per care plans and directions.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to supervising nurse.
