Responsibilities include assisting with self-administration of medications under training, aiding residents with bathing, dressing, mobility, and maintaining hygiene while reporting health changes promptly.

Qualifications

• Medication administration training and competencies per state guidelines.
• High School Diploma or GED may be required based on working state.
• Active SD Med Aide license required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and services including medication administration and daily living assistance.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers.
• Observe and report changes in health status and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
