Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is hiring an on-call Receptionist for the Aberdeen Medical Clinic. The receptionist will handle patient information, schedule appointments, and contact patients by phone, taking messages and performing general front-office duties.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in a medical setting, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with Windows, Word, and Excel. Occasional travel to the Elma Medical Clinic is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year experience in a medical setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel and typing skills required.
• Excellent verbal, customer service, and written skills necessary.
• Good organizational skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Process patient information and schedule medical appointments.
• Contact patients via phone on behalf of Sea Mar and take messages.
• Perform general front-office duties.
• Occasionally travel to and work at the Elma Medical Clinic.
