Job summary

Pivotal Housing Partners LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our Newton, IA senior community. This part-time role (24 hours/week) focuses on reliable service, on-call responsiveness, and hands-on upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience.
• HVAC training or certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to be on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to residents.
• Complete resident work orders within 24–48 hours.
• Broad knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Assist with unit turnover between residents (3–5 days).
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal.
• Be on-call and responsive to emergencies.
