Job summary

MRK Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Hoboken, NJ to perform repairs, troubleshoot systems, and conduct preventative maintenance across assigned properties. The role emphasizes timely work orders, and upkeep of grounds and buildings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience.
• One year of full‑charge residential maintenance experience preferred.
• OSHA rules knowledge preferred.
• EPA certification preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on‑call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend English
• Proficiency in plumbing, electric and machinery repair
• Ability to follow direction and work independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs, troubleshoots mechanical systems, and completes preventative maintenance.
• Restores vacated apartments to move‑in condition for new residents
• Removes snow, ice and leaves from sidewalks, walkways, steps and driveways
• Completes janitorial requirements in accordance with the janitorial schedule
• Responds to on‑call emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Patrols property daily to identify areas in need of cleaning and completes required work
