Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Mountain View to perform technical maintenance of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role requires on-call weekend coverage and weekend schedule duties.

The position involves completing work orders and preventative maintenance, assisting in making-ready tasks for new move-ins, inventory management, and adherence to safety and code standards.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All certifications as required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Makes-ready process for vacant apartments including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Tracks inventory, re-orders supplies, and notifies supervisor on re-order needs.
• Documents service requests thoroughly for tracking and reporting.
