Greystar is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. The role covers maintenance requests, make-ready processes for vacant units, and routine inspections across a garden-style property.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing systems, managing inventory, documenting work orders, and assisting with grounds, curbs, and pool area upkeep.

Competenze

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions (applies to all Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property depending on property size, if applicable.

Mansioni

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance by diagnosing the defect and making repairs per policies and codes.
• Makes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments, including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, completing tasks, and inspecting work.
• Accesses and obtains materials from the maintenance department by tracking inventory and notifying re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork so service requests are properly documented and tracked.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, painting curbs, and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools/materials efficiently.
