Job summary

MERIDIAN AT GRANDVIEW in Columbus, OH is seeking a Maintenance/Service Technician to perform make-ready repairs on vacant units and to support property operations. The role requires readiness for on-call duties and the ability to work with the Service Manager and other staff.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic trade skills (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical), and knowledge of SDS/OSHA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical skills will be used.
• CFC / refrigerant handling certification (608) preferred, training available if needed.
• Knowledge of SDS and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs to make-ready units in a timely manner.
• Be on 24-hour on-call, as scheduled by the Service Manager, and respond to paging.
• Assist Service Manager or Housekeeper as needed.
• Assist Grounds staff with trashing out units as necessary.
• Assist Service Manager with inventory control and maintenance materials.
