GCI Residential in Streetsboro, OH is seeking a Make Ready Technician to help maintain a welcoming community. You will perform light maintenance, assist with unit turnovers, and support the maintenance team to ensure the property meets high standards.

The role emphasizes customer service and reliability, with responsibilities including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and drywall tasks, plus snow removal and on-call hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance roles with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or electrical work.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call hours.
• Strong organization and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance such as trashing vacant apartments and removing carpet.
• Handle light landscaping duties: weeding, watering, planting flowers.
• Inspect and maintain buildings to meet company standards and laws.
• Assist with Make Ready Units across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting and drywall.
• Provide snow removal when needed.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to maximize resident retention.
