Job summary

The Lawson Companies, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician to provide responsive maintenance for LRC managed properties in Virginia. You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry tasks, perform preventative maintenance, and respond to emergencies. The role supports resident satisfaction and adheres to a 24-hour response window.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of maintenance trade experience.
• Possess Type I & II CFC Refrigerant Certification or obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Handle service requests and complete assigned projects promptly.
• Serve as on-call emergency maintenance technician as directed.
• Repair/maintain HVAC systems and components, plumbing, electrical work and carpentry as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance and follow PM procedures.
• Ensure resident satisfaction and timely completion of work requests (within 24 hours).
• Report resident complaints or requests to Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
