Job summary

The Doran Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Minnesota to support property management across communities. You will perform day-to-day upkeep, repairs, and preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment, ensuring safety and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include completing move-in/out work, handling work orders within 24 hours, and coordinating with licensed contractors as needed. Evening and weekend on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in building maintenance or related field.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; travel between properties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and turnover work on apartments for move-ins/outs.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours of receipt.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents or staff.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Inspect properties regularly for safety and upkeep.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with supervisor.
• Seasonal snow removal and landscaping responsibilities.
• Attend safety meetings and follow OSHA guidelines.
