Job summary

Summit Property Management is seeking Maintenance Technicians to support our communities across Tarrant County. You will complete work orders, perform routine maintenance, and help keep apartments and amenities in top condition.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of general maintenance experience, HVAC certification, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. On-call shifts and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience required.
• HVAC Certification required; troubleshoot/repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances.
• EPA universal license for HVAC preferred; CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; college/trade school preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and other community maintenance.
• Maintain community appearance to quality standards, including cleaning buildings and amenities.
• Identify maintenance and liability hazards and report them to the Manager.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Review the make-ready board and follow directions from the manager for vacant apartments.
• Perform repairs and replacements necessary for occupancy.
• Be available for on-call duties and irregular schedules.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
