Job summary

Summit Property Management is seeking Maintenance Technicians to service Tarrant County locations. You will complete work orders, keep communities clean, and prepare vacant apartments for move-in. The role requires on-call availability and a strong focus on safety and quality maintenance standards.

Minimum qualifications include 2+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC Certification, and knowledge of Fair Housing regulations. EPA/HVAC licenses and CPO preferred; bilingual a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years general maintenance experience.
• EPA universal HVAC license preferred.
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• HVAC Certification required; troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and all major appliances, including washer and dryer.
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; college-level/trade school preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and other community maintenance.
• Strive to keep the community appearance at or above quality standards, including cleaning buildings and amenities.
• Identify maintenance needs and liability hazards and report to Manager.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Review the make-ready board and act on manager directions for vacant apartments.
• Make repairs and replacements necessary for the apartment to be occupied.
• Work on-call shifts and be available outside normal hours as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
