Job summary

Summit Property Management is seeking Maintenance Technicians to service properties across Tarrant County. The role includes completing work orders, performing routine maintenance, and preparing vacant apartments for move-in.

You will inspect buildings for hazards, follow safety procedures, and assist with on-call rotations. A strong background in general maintenance and HVAC repair is preferred, with EPA universal (HVAC) certification and CPO being a plus. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience.
• EPA universal HVAC license preferred.
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• HVAC Certification required; ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and major appliances.
• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred; college/trade school preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and community maintenance.
• Maintain and improve community appearance; perform cleaning and trash pickup.
• Identify maintenance needs and report hazards to Manager.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in.
• Review make-ready board and follow manager directions for vacant apartments.
• Perform repairs and replacements to occupancy standards.
• Be on call and work odd schedules.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
