Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Stationary) in Ruskin, FL to operate the facility, maintain mechanical and building systems, and ensure uptime and safety.

The role involves inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and responding to routine service requests to support uninterrupted client operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma with trades training, a minimum of 3 years' experience, and knowledge of BAS and HVAC systems, plus a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems or pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Sound knowledge of facility operations and maintenance processes and practices.
• Strong environmental, health, and safety mindset and ability to work with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting facility systems and equipment.
• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and other equipment.
• Monitoring and inspecting facility systems to ensure uptime and asset integrity.
• Responding to service requests and ensuring quality work and compliance with safety standards.
