Job summary

BGIS seeks a Maintenance Technician (Stationary) for Ruskin, FL to operate and maintain facility systems, ensuring uptime and safety. You will perform inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, and respond to service requests while coordinating with teams to uphold service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma with trades training and at least 3 years of HVAC/MEP experience, strong BAS knowledge, and a customer-service mindset. On-site work with on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, or pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• Sound knowledge of processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting facility mechanical and electrical equipment and systems; suggest repairs.
• Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uptime and asset integrity.
• Respond to routine and on-demand service requests; manage work orders in CMMS.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Assist with implementing preventive maintenance programs.
