Job summary

Avanti Residential LLC is seeking a Service Technician for Marq at Monument Ridge, a 194-unit community. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities.

You will perform maintenance, repairs, and unit readiness while supporting safety and operations across the property. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience, with certifications preferred (EPA Type II/U, CAMT, CPO).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant maintenance experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred.
• CPO certification preferred where applicable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license and up-to-date vehicle insurance required.
• Wonderlic pre-employment assessment required after resume screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Maintain property condition and correct unsafe conditions; report to manager.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call support.
• Perform grounds cleanup and light landscaping as available.
