Avanti Residential is seeking a Service Technician for Latitude Apartments in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves preparing units for move-ins, handling maintenance requests (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), and performing routine exterior duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant experience required.
• OSHA, EPA, and CPO licenses/certifications preferred.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
• Driver’s license and current vehicle insurance required.
• Wonderlic assessment may be required during resume screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours and report emergencies promptly.
• Responsible for 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
• Complete grounds clean-up and basic landscaping tasks when possible.
• Assist with snow removal or hurricane prep as needed.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with residents, vendors and team members.
