Job summary

Avanti Residential's Latitude community in Phoenix is seeking a Service Technician to keep the property in top condition, inside and out. You’ll prepare units for move-ins, perform work orders (electrical, plumbing, HVAC), repair appliances, and handle exterior maintenance, with after-hours on-call responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED; EPA Type II or Universal Certification is preferred, as are CAMT or CPO where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relevant maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• CAMT certification preferred where applicable.
• CPO certification preferred where applicable.
• Written, verbal, and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of facilities management and mechanical equipment.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and up-to-date vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare units for move-ins with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting repairs.
• Monitor property condition and address unsafe conditions; report safety concerns to supervisors.
• Complete work orders within 24 hours; communicate emergencies promptly.
• Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance and on-call coverage.
• Complete grounds tasks and light landscaping when possible.
