Smithers Environmental Risk Sciences division is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician at our Wareham, MA location. The role focuses on keeping facilities and equipment running smoothly, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities include inspecting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing repairs. The candidate will also handle facility upkeep, minor construction tasks, and on-call emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, power tools, and maintenance software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and other documents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on buildings and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain interior/exterior of building and perform minor construction tasks.
• Ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and accurate maintenance records.
