Job summary

CAHEC Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our property safe, clean, and fully functional.

This hands-on role handles routine maintenance, responds to resident work orders, performs apartment turns, and conducts preventative tasks while coordinating with vendors as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance, a basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair, plus the ability to read work orders and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, maintenance instructions and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Ability to complete required training and certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders in a timely manner.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and perform turn maintenance.
• Inspect the property and complete maintenance tasks as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and services when required.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
