Job summary

CAHEC Management, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our Alabama properties safe, clean, and in good working order.

You’ll handle routine maintenance, respond to resident requests, and coordinate with vendors to complete repairs. You’ll inspect units during turns, perform basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repairs, and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to ensure resident satisfaction and property operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, maintenance instructions, and safety procedures.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
• Prepare apartments for new move-ins and turns.
• Inspect property and perform routine and preventative maintenance.
• Complete maintenance tasks and repairs.
• Coordinate with vendors when needed for complex issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
