Job summary

CAHEC MANAGEMENT INC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Springfield, FL. This part-time position guards the property's safety, cleanliness, and overall condition, performing routine maintenance, repairs, apartment turns, and preventative tasks while addressing resident service requests in a timely manner.

A typical day includes responding to work orders, preparing units for new move-ins, inspecting the property, completing maintenance tasks, and coordinating with vendors as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, maintenance instructions, and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Ability to successfully complete required training and certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and prepare apartments for new move-ins.
• Inspect the property and complete preventive and routine maintenance tasks.
• Work with vendors for repairs and provide excellent resident service.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
