Job summary

Pivotal maintains Eastern Lofts in Grand Rapids, MI and seeks an entry-level Maintenance Technician to join a high-quality team. You will assist with routine upkeep, respond to emergencies, and ensure residents experience a safe and comfortable living environment.

You will handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks with a service-oriented mindset. On-call shifts and smartphone work-order management are required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related maintenance experience required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• HVAC training and certification preferred.
• Commitment to regular attendance (may include weekend hours).
• On-call for emergencies and ability to receive/close work orders via smartphone apps.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding maintenance services to residents and ensure a safe, clean living environment.
• Complete resident work orders promptly (24–48 hours).
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry systems.
