Job summary

LR Management Services seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician in Grand Rapids, MI. You will perform general apartment maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative tasks to support residents and on-site teams.

Responsibilities include move-in/out inspections, timely service requests, inventory management, and upkeep of common areas and exteriors. A valid license and flexibility, including weekends, are required.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of verifiable general maintenance experience.
• A valid driver's license.
• Applicants must be able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including weekends and the ability to be on-call.
• A high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Full maintenance of apartments prior to new residents moving in.
• Repairing and improving vacant and occupied apartments.
• Completing resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Carpentry, plumbing, and painting tasks.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks.
• Move in/move out inspections.
• Ensure inventory levels for required parts.
• Keep service shop clean and organized.
• Maintain grounds and exterior areas including snow removal.
• Adhere to fair housing policies.
