Job summary

Owens Realty Services is seeking a skilled building maintenance worker to perform carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related tasks to keep the property safe, attractive, and comfortable. The role requires the ability to respond to building emergencies on a 24/7 basis and to perform preventive maintenance.

Under supervision, you will operate and maintain boilers, pumps, chillers and other equipment, read meters, log data, and report conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to building emergencies.
• Must have a valid NY driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Paints and repairs ceiling tiles.
• Services plumbing and electrical fixtures, replaces bulbs and ballasts.
• Maintains HVAC system equipment and related components.
• Inspects building, plumbing, electrical fixtures and major equipment.
• On call for emergency duty when assigned.
• Follows all company emergency procedures.
