Barrett & Stokely is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor for our Fort Wayne, IN property. You will oversee all maintenance operations, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure timely resolutions to resident issues. The role includes hiring, training, supervising staff, and managing an on-call rotation.

The position requires five years of maintenance experience with supervisory exposure, EPA certification, and valid US work authorization. Competitive benefits and base pay provided.

Qualifications

• Technical school or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum five years in maintenance or related field.
• Minimum two years supervising others preferred.
• EPA certified; CAMT and CPO certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for the property, including scheduling and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure timely response to customer maintenance requests and issues.
• Schedule preventive maintenance activities and keep records updated.
• Hire, train, motivate, supervise, evaluate, and discipline direct reports.
• Respond to after-hour emergencies and property disasters as needed.
• Ensure maintenance work orders are completed within target timeframes and units are ready within five business days.
