Job summary

Barrett & Stokely is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Fort Wayne property portfolio. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to tenant requests, and assist with plumbing, electrical, drywall, and other building systems.

You’ll participate in an after-hours on-call rotation to ensure prompt service. We value hands-on skills, reliability, and a willingness to work a day shift with on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Possess your own basic tools to perform building maintenance.
• Valid driver's license preferred. Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check is required.
• Must be willing to work on an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventative maintenance as instructed by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service in fixing maintenance requests with timely/responsive resolution.
• Assist with maintenance service requests involving plumbing, electrical, drywall, and other types.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation as scheduled, responds to emergency service requests.
• Complete all maintenance work orders within assigned timeframe and make most apartments ready within five (5) business days of vacancy.

Pay/Schedule
