Job summary

The Joseph, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nashville, is seeking polished on-call banquet servers to join the Food & Beverage team. In a fast-paced luxury setting, you will support weddings, corporate events, galas, and private dinners with attentive service.

This on-call role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts. Prior banquet or hospitality experience and a professional appearance are preferred, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous banquet, restaurant, catering, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Luxury hotel or upscale event experience is a plus.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and attention to detail.
• Able to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift at least light equipment.
• Available for an on-call schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, polished service consistent with standards.
• Set up banquet rooms and event spaces per BEOs.
• Prepare tables, chairs, linens, and service stations.
• Welcome guests and provide personalized service.
• Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages per event specs.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and event details.
• Clear and reset spaces; assist with breakdown after events.
• Communicate with Banquet Captains and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Follow all food safety and hotel safety procedures.
