Job summary

Cascade AIDS Project is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to care for residents at Our House in SE Portland. The LPN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per licensure, and support daily living activities.

The role requires an Oregon LPN license, BLS, and the ability to pass a DHS background check. It is an on-call position with competitive hourly wages and incentives for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Oregon LPN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to pass DHS background check.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Motivation to serve PLWH, SUD, or behavioral health.
• Commitment to equity and inclusion in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing procedures per licensure and skill level.
• Explain treatments and conditions to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with primary care provider and clinical staff.
• Administer and document medications using eMAR.
