Job summary

SFJAZZ is seeking an on-call Entry-level Event Technician to support performances and events at the SFJAZZ Center. You will assist with setup and breakdown of backline, stages, AV gear, banners, and signage, collaborating with artistic, education, development, rentals, and facilities teams.

Responsibilities include transporting equipment to and from storage, supporting on-site events, and helping maintain a smooth show flow.

Qualifications

• Experience in performing arts or concert production field.
• Ability to work under pressure to retain show schedule.
• Reliable and dependable with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide set-up and breakdown support for performance spaces at SFJAZZ Center.
• Transport backline and audio equipment and assist with portable stages and signage.
• Support SFJAZZ events across departments and assist Facilities/Operations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
