St. Tammany Parish Government seeks a Utility Maintenance Specialist 3 – Line Maintenance/Line Repair to support wastewater and water infrastructure, including sewer lines, lift stations, and water distribution systems.

Duties include maintaining, repairing, and installing lines and pumps, reading meters, operating heavy equipment, and being on-call for nights and weekends. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years of utility maintenance, and a valid driver’s license.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED plus 3+ years in utility maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in maintenance, construction, repair, and installation of sewer and water infrastructure.
• Operate equipment (backhoe, trucks, tractors) and ensure proper servicing of tools.
• Read meters and complete Work Orders.
• Be on-call during nights and weekends and work additional hours during emergencies.
• Attend to regular attendance and perform other duties as assigned.
