Job description

Monmouth University is seeking applications for on-call Lifeguards in the Fitness Center department.

The candidates would be expected to:

• Enforce the rules of the Monmouth University Pool.
• Help to maintain a safe and clean environment in the pool area.
• Perform periodic water chemical testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is an in-person on-campus, non-remote position.

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills

Other Requirements:
Current certification in Red Cross Lifeguard Training, Red Cross Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the Professional Rescuer, Community First Aid and Safety or equivalent.
