Job Title: Lifeguard

Join AquaSafe Pool Management for an exciting summer opportunity as a Lifeguard! This role is perfect for teens, students, teachers, retirees, or anyone with free time during the summer. Work at local pools, serve your community, and gain valuable skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patrons at aquatic facilities by preventing and responding to emergencies.
• Enforce all pool rules fairly and consistently.
• Maintain proper pool water chemicals, record keeping, and a clean, enjoyable environment.
• Report unsafe conditions or faulty equipment to supervisors.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 15 by the date of hire or last day of lifeguard course.
• Availability to work Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day weekends, and all weekends throughout summer.
• Professional conduct, attentiveness, and focus.
• Current Nationally Approved Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain before season start.

Additional Information

Season runs from Saturday, May 25, 2024, to Monday, September 2, 2024. Pay ranges from $14.00/hr to $17.00/hr, with overtime, bonuses, and incentives available. Experienced lifeguards may have opportunities for promotion to Pool Manager.
