Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring on-call janitor positions for Denton ISD at 9601 Stacee Lane, Lantana, TX 76226. Schedule: on-call; Monday–Friday, 4–8 hours, shifts between 10:30 AM–7:00 PM or 3:00 PM–10:30 PM. No prior experience required; training provided.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean and orderly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.
• Collects and disposes of trash following procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors; moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning.
• Cleans assigned areas with available materials and equipment; sanitize surfaces; follow eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and completes tasks; works with supervisor to complete tasks.
• Performs tasks in compliance with federal, state and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team with professionalism; performs other duties as assigned.
