Job summary

University Health Partners of Hawai'i seeks a part-time on-call Hyperbaric Clinician. The role starts as a Trainee with promotion to Clinician I–III after completing required didactic/clinical care training. Positions involve on-call shifts, ACLS where required, and maintaining hyperbaric credentials.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, chart preparation, chamber setup, and educating patients and families. On-site work with an emphasis on safety and timely responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Enrollment in HTC or equivalent course required to maintain employment; completion needed for higher levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist during evaluation of patients and prepare medical charts.
• Prepare hyperbaric chamber for use and ensure patient comfort and chamber orientation.
• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment.
• Serve as Care Provider during daily scheduled and emergent treatments.
• Maintain credentials and competencies; participate in HTC training and safety drills.
• Participate in monthly on-call schedule and be available with 30-minute on-call response.
