Job summary

The Cincinnati Reds are seeking an HVAC Technician to assist in the daily operations of the HVAC system, including maintenance of dry and wet fire systems. This role requires extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season, and on-call for emergencies.

Key duties include operating boilers and chillers, daily rounds, preventative maintenance on HVAC and fire systems, and using Building Automated Controls (Trane Ensemble).

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma and completion of HVAC program.
• Experience: 2–3 years in boiler, chiller, and commercial A/C equipment; CFC Universal.
• Skills: Basic knowledge of controls; computer literacy with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate boilers, chillers and related HVAC equipment and controls (25%).
• Perform daily rounds on equipment and record data (25%).
• Perform PM on HVAC equipment and fire systems and record PM in CMMS (25%).
• Utilize Building Automated Controls (Trane Ensemble) (10%).
• Handle other maintenance duties as assigned (10%).
• Respond to off-hour emergency calls (5%).
