Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the New Albany, Ohio area. The role focuses on operating boilers, maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing systems, and performing routine maintenance.

Evening shift hours require reliable, detail-oriented technicians. Responsibilities include rounds, repairs on HVAC/refrigeration, and daily checks, with records kept for regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training in mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and/or plumbing.
• Universal Refrigerant Certification preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in repair/maintenance boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and/or general maintenance.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Operate boilers and maintenance of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Perform rounds and equipment checks; respond to adverse conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, lighting, and air distribution systems.
