Job summary

Oldham Goodwin Group Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Supervisor in keeping apartment properties up to standards. You will diagnose problems and perform repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliances.

This role requires a high school diploma, at least two years in the field, HVAC certification, basic English, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Evening and weekend availability is requested to meet property needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance or related area.
• HVAC certification and experience with HVAC duties.
• Ability to speak, read and write basic English.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as required.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain apartment property structures using hand and power tools.
• Replace defective electrical switches and fixtures.
• Paint, repair drywall and woodwork.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, boilers and appliances.
• Maintain pool, pool furniture and BBQ grills.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and log updates.
• Support maintenance staff as needed.
• Respond to on-call requests and on-site evenings/weekends as required.
• Keep tools and equipment organized in the shop.
• Report issues to supervisor in a timely manner.
