Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

• Vocational training or certification in maintenance is a plus.
• Prior experience in hotel maintenance or a similar role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Responds promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Troubleshoots equipment and makes repairs to minimize downtime.
• Inspects hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities for maintenance needs and hazards.
• Implements preventive maintenance schedules to ensure reliability.
• Maintains safety compliance and a clean work environment.
• On-call availability for emergencies to protect guest safety.
• Monitors inventory and reports shortages to management.
• Keeps tools and equipment organized for efficiency.
• Documents maintenance activities and reports to supervisors.
• Coordinates with other departments to minimize guest disruptions.
• Collaborates with external contractors for specialized work.
