Job summary

Stonebridge Companies in Ocean City, MD is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to support hotel maintenance operations and ensure facilities and equipment run smoothly.

You will work 2-3 days in Maintenance and 2-3 days as a Houseman, handling preventative maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep while following OSHA safety practices. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance systems including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Must follow safety procedures including lockout-tagout per OSHA.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C units, and hotel equipment.
• Monitor electric, gas, and water consumption and report issues as needed.
• Ensure maintenance projects are completed on time and to specifications.
• Practice safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, per OSHA standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
• Conduct checks of equipment and log findings.
• Report safety concerns to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty.
• Maintain storage areas and keep workspace clean.
