Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current AR licensure.
• Hospice experience or familiarity with end-of-life care preferred.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Remote Triage On Call Team to provide hands-on hospice care after hours.
• Assess urgent symptoms and respond quickly and compassionately.
• Administer or adjust medications per hospice protocols or orders.
• Communicate changes with the physician and obtain orders as needed.
• Guide patients and families, explaining current condition and next steps.
• Pronounce death when applicable and coordinate with families and funeral home.
• Complete timely documentation and team communication.
