Job summary

Inspiration Home Health and Hospice is seeking an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide compassionate hospice care in patients' homes. You will assess nursing needs, deliver treatments, educate families, and collaborate with the IDG while ensuring meticulous documentation and adherence to HIPAA.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in Utah and at least two years of RN experience, with the ability to work independently during on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN to practice in the state (Utah).
• Minimum two years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assesses and reassesses the nursing needs of hospice patients.
• Provides hospice nursing services, treatments and preventive procedures.
• Observes signs and symptoms and reports changes to the physician and IDG.
• Teaches, counsels, and supports patient and family in home care and bereavement.
• Supervises and trains other nursing staff.
• Develops and reevaluates the patient/family care plan with IDG.
• Attends team conferences and maintains required records.
• Follows HIPAA and agency policies; participates in on-call system.

Education
