Home&Care in Billings, MT is seeking a PRN On-Call Hospice RN to provide after-hours nursing support to hospice patients and families, respond to urgent needs, perform triage, and coordinate care per the hospice plan of care. This role requires Montana RN license, 1–2 years hospice/home health/acute care experience, valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently.

On-call shifts include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; compensation includes on-call stipend and mileage

Qualificações

• Current, unencumbered RN license – Montana.
• Minimum 1–2 years nursing experience (hospice/home health or acute care preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to patient/family calls during on-call hours.
• Provides telephonic triage and clinical guidance.
• Determines need for and performs urgent visits.
• Assesses condition and changes in status; manages pain and symptoms.
• Administers medications per hospice plan of care.
• Documents assessments, interventions, and follow-up.
• Educates families on symptom management and expectations.
• Coordinates with physicians, pharmacies, and vendors.
