Qualifikationen

• Current nursing license in the state of operation.
• One year nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in hospice or similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy of care.
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence.
• Must have a valid insured vehicle and safe driving record.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on 1:1 hospice care during after-hours on-call periods.
• Assess and manage urgent symptoms quickly and compassionately.
• Administer medications or adjust care per hospice protocols.
• Communicate with physicians about changes and obtain orders.
• Offer guidance to patient and family on current condition and next steps.
• Pronounce death when applicable and assist families as needed.
