Vitality Hospice is seeking a compassionate On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) in New Jersey. You will provide after-hours hospice care, respond to patient needs, manage symptoms, support families, and ensure comfort during evenings, nights, and weekends as part of an experienced interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license
• Minimum 1 year RN experience (Hospice/Home Health/Oncology/ICU/ER/Med-Surg preferred)
• Hospice experience preferred, but training available for right candidate

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-hours patient needs and manage symptoms
• Perform nursing assessments and develop interventions
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary hospice team
• Complete timely documentation in the EMR
• Maintain compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and hospice standards
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage while delivering great service
