Job summary

Magnolia Hospice in Burnet, TX is seeking an RN On Call for 7on/7off shifts to provide hospice care in patients’ homes and facilities. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and update the Plan of Care and ensure timely documentation and follow-up.

The role requires an active RN license and CPR certification, ability to travel locally, and participation in on-call rotations. Compassion, strong communication, and patient-family education are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Experience: Two (2) years of RN experience in clinical settings, preferably hospice.
• License / Certification: Valid RN license, CPR certification required; driver’s license and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Administer hospice care in patients' homes or facilities as assigned.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and family members.
• Develop and implement written Plan of Care; document nursing interventions.
• Conduct assessments, educate patients and families on care options.
• Participate in on-call rotation and visits as scheduled.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable policies and regulations.
