Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse / RN to provide after-hours and weekend hospice care. The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered support, education for caregivers, and maintaining comfort for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse, hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Flex your schedule to meet agency-staffing needs; schedules may include weekends, weeknights, or seven days on/off.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and on weekends as needed.
• Help patients spend time with loved ones and engage in activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved one.
• Support patient comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies.
