Job summary

Frontier Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Oklahoma City and surrounding areas. You will identify patient and family needs, coordinate care, and provide preventive measures and compassionate support during critical moments.

The role offers a 7 On/7 Off schedule, with responsibilities spanning direct patient care, documentation, and family support in a hospice setting. RN license, 1 year of experience, and EMR proficiency are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Unencumbered RN license required.
Minimum 1 year RN experience in med-surg/acute care; hospice a plus.
Computer proficiency and EMR experience required; CPR certification if state requires.

Responsibilities

Respond to a range of patient needs, from urgent to routine, providing support during critical moments.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
Maintain accurate documentation in the home and agency records in line with standards.
Support families by guiding and reassuring them during the terminal illness journey.
