Interim HealthCare Hospice is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan to provide compassionate home-based care for patients with six months or less to live, focusing on quality of life. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to carry out the plan of care and support families during this season.
This role features 4:30pm–8:00am scheduling, competitive weekly pay, 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratios, flexible assignments and ongoing online training with CEUs, plus Rasmussen
Formación
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Michigan.
Responsabilidades
- Provide home-based care to patients with six months or less to live, focused on quality of life.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to carry out the patient's plan of care.
- Perform patient assessments, check vitals, evaluate breathing, monitor pain, administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Ensure accessibility of medical equipment, prescribed oxygen, medications and other supplies.
- Educate family on the patient's prognosis, changes in care plan, medication and hospice goals.
- Take a holistic approach to care engaging mind, body, spirit and family.
